Under the IDEHA project, a registration interoperability pilot was carried out in South Sudan with NGO partners from two consortia: the Emergency Rapid Response Mechanism (ERRM), comprising the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and the Danish Refugee Council (DRC), and the Cash Consortium chaired by Save the Children, working alongside IOM. Building on work established through the Collaborative Cash Delivery network, the pilot tested whether partners using different systems - IOM’s BRaVe and the NGO partners’ Red Rose platforms - could register against an aligned Single Registration Form, exchange data under signed instruments, and deduplicate records across organisations.
Running from the workshop in Juba in November 2025 to the close of the project in end June, activities included the joint development of a pilot Single Registration Form through comparison and alignment of partner forms, the drafting of a Data Protection Impact Assessment and Data Sharing Agreements with partner review, a partner workshop in Juba, enumerator training and three weeks of pilot data collection.
Lessons learned were consolidated with partner feedback across technical, governance and operational dimensions and presented at a workshop in Juba on 17 June 2026.
